The Wonders of Eternity

Before the Fall of Adam and Eve came about, there were only two immortal beings. Instilled in their bodies was the power of endless creation but they couldn't use it. They were innocent and not able to comprehend the nature of their bodies and how it was that they were supposed to "multiply and replenish the earth." The resurrection would not be much of a miracle if there were no death. But there is death and there must be a reason for it in God's great plan. Did God just stop whatever it was he had been doing and then create endless planets and galaxies just to cause a solitary planet to be inhabited by human beings out of curiosity? What was the reasoning behind the creation and the fall? Was it part of a greater divine eternal plan or simply an experiment based on some whim that occurred to an all-powerful being. Would such a being even be inclined to act on a whim? Orthodox theological scholars would say no, yet that is exactly what they believe. ...

What happened in the Garden of Eden? Was the fall necessary or not? There are really only two conclusions to consider regarding the Fall of Adam. Either God wanted it to happen or he didn't.   Was this the beginning of sin and evil or a means to introduce mortality? The existence of evil and suffering in our world has been a paradox to theologians and believers in relation to God's goodness. To reconcile these apparent contradictions requires an understanding of what the war in heaven was about and the reason for the fall. What is the grace of God and how does it come through Jesus Christ?  Some say a person only needs to confess with the mouth that Jesus is their Savior.  That brings up some questions.  Did Old Testament believers, the Jews and the various tribes of Israel and the gentiles have a chance to know enough to make such a confession?  What about the other billions that have lived without access to or knowledge of the bible and its teachings?  Such a doctrine when viewed from a realistic standpoint is unjust and logically flawed if God truly is a just being.  The idea of a single confession is for the most part an invention of modern-day evangelicals since they have no real authority to oversee the word or work of God.
